Information About You

Rayze may collect your name, email address (including but not limited to a hashed email address, Facebook identifier, Apple identifier, Google identifier, or LinkedIn identifier), telephone number, age and gender when you register for an account, update or change information for your account and when you sign up for email updates. You may not send us any sensitive personal information (e.g., social security number, information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, biometrics or genetic characteristics, criminal background or trade union membership) on or through the Service or otherwise.

Location

Rayze may collect the approximate geographic location information. We gather this information to give you more information about volunteer opportunities or events. We may ask you to provide the information or we may use GPS or IP addresses. Location information is not only convenient for you, it may also be a security feature if, for example, it flags a sign in from a country in which you did not originally register your account.

Contact/Address Book Information

Rayze may collect your contacts, such as your phone contacts, address book or social graph, to make it easier for you to share content from the Service or invite others to use the Service.

User Content

Rayze may collect users’ photos and/or videos, audio data, data collected in user support requests and any other user-generated content that users provide to us.

Search History

Rayze may collect information about searches performed while using the Service.

Identifiers

In addition to the information that you provide when you register, Rayze may collect certain information automatically, such as your mobile device’s unique device ID, account IDs, assigned user IDs, your mobile device’s IP address, your mobile device operating system, or other user-or account-level or device information that can be used to identify a particular user or account or mobile device.

Rayze may collect information about how you use the Service, such as launches, taps, clicks, scrolling information, listening data, video view, or other information about how you interact with the Service as well as any other data about your activity in the Service.

Diagnostics

Rayze may collect data to determine how well the Service is performing, such as crash data, launch time, hang rate or energy use and other technical performance data.

  • Rayze may disclose your personal data to its trusted service providers, such as Firebase, to operate and improve our the Service. Access to your personal data is limited to the information reasonably necessary to perform work for Rayze and all such service providers must also utilize sound privacy policies.
  • Rayze may disclose your personal data to third parties where: a) a state, federal, local or international law or regulation requires such disclosure; b) the disclosure is required by a subpoena court order or legal process; c) the disclosure is reasonably needed to prevent a crime or actual or threatened injury to the safety, property or privacy interests of Rayze or its users; or d) the disclosure is pursuant to our Terms of Service.
  • Rayze may provide access to your personal data to a third party for purposes of a sale, merger, capital infusion, loan, or reorganization of the business or assets of Rayze.

 

6. Data Retention

Rayze will retain your personal data only for so long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless: a) a longer or shorter time is required by applicable law; or b) you request that the data be deleted earlier. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you, when we have a legal obligation to which we are subject or as advisable in light of legal requirements. Once we delete your data you will not be able to exercise the right to access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification or the right to data portability. In addition, Rayze may delete your personal information if you have not used or accessed the app within twelve (12) months.

7. Log Files

Rayze follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit the Service. All hosting companies do this and are part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

8. Cookies and Web Beacons

Like most other websites, the Service uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the parts of the Service that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.
